JEE Main 2019 Answer Key for Jan Exam – Paper 1 and Paper 2

Candidates will be able to view the JEE Main 2019 Answer key after the exams have been held successfully. It will be available on the official website.  JEE Main 2019 Answer Key

As JEE Main 2019 will be conducted through only online mode, the answer key will also be available at nta.ac.in. All the questions will be multiple choice questions, having four options. Out of which, only one will be the correct answer. Last year, the answer keys along with the question paper were mailed to every candidate in the registered email ids. The images of the OMR answer key will be released as per the schedule mentioned below:

After the JEE (Main) 2019 examinations, the NTA will display Answer Keys & recorded responses of multiple choice questions of Paper-1 and Paper-2 on the NTA‟s website www.jeemain.nic.in. The date shall be displayed on the NTA‟s website.

JEE Main 2019 Answer Key Challange

The candidates, who are not satisfied with the recorded response, may challenge by filling online application form and paying a sum of Rs.1000/- per question.

The challenge of answer keys will also be accepted online only through the link available on the website www.jeemain.nic.in on payment of Rs.1000/- per question. The fee can be paid by credit/debit card. The fee once paid is non-refundable.

You can login to your account using details provided on your admit card, in order to views your responses and challenge the keys.

JEE Main 2019 Result Process

The result will be compiled on the basis of final answer keys. No grievance with regard to answer key(s) after declaration of result of JEE (Main)-2019 will be entertained.

Evaluation of multiple choice questions of Paper-1 and Paper-2 will be carried out using final answer keys and the raw (actual) marks obtained by a candidate will be considered further for computation of the result of JEE (Main)-2019.

For multi-shift papers, raw marks obtained by the candidates in different shifts/sessions will be converted to NTA Score.

  • Start by logging in to the official website or by clicking on the link mentioned above using details given in application form.
  • Note that, this link will only work after the release of the JEE Main 2019 Answer Key. Follow the schedule to track the release date of answer key.
  • Once you log in after the link has been activated, you will be able to find “JEE Main 2019 Answer Key” on the main page.
  • Click on that link to match your answers to the JEE Main 2019 Answer key.
  • Complaints regarding the JEE Main 2019 Answer Key will be received by the NTA online. For that, candidates need to pay a specified fee and apply from the link given on the main page within the allotted time period.

What Are the Qualifying Marks of JEE Main 2019?

The cut-off marks of JEE Mains 2019 will be different for candidates belonging to different categories as per the eligibility criteria. NTA will release the qualifying marks soon after the NTA has successfully conducted JEE Main 2019 across all its test centers. Cut off marks are released the same day the JEE Main 2019 Results are announced. Candidate can estimate their JEE Mains 2019 Score by following the marking scheme:

  • Correct Answer – +4 marks
  • Incorrect Answer – -1 mark
  • Unanswered Question – No marks deduction

Some of the coaching institutes will also release the JEE Main 2019 Answer Key. You need to be a student of these coaching institutes in order to fetch the answer key, prepared by the tutors. But it would become totally hassle-free if rather than seeking an answer key from the coaching institute, candidates can have them from the official website of NTA.
