The Admit Card for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2020 is released on 27th March, 2020. NEET 2020 is due on 3rd May, 2020. NEET 2020 Admit Card / Hall ticket is the most crucial element post the registration. The candidates need to carry the NEET 2020 Hall Ticket along with a passport sized photograph, a valid ID proof and its photocopy on the day of the exam.

Admit Card: The NEET 2020 Admit Card can be downloaded from the www.ntaneet.nic.in.

NEET 2020 Admit Card is the pass required at the exam center. Without it, the candidates shall not be allowed to appear for the exam. Hence, it is necessary that the candidates download the Admit Card and get it in print at the day of the examination. A coloured printout of the NEET Admit Card 2020 is preferable.

Instructions for downloading the NEET Admit Card 2020

To download the NEET 2020 Admit Card, follow these simple steps.

  1. Visit ntaneet.nic.in

    As soon as the notification for the admit card is out, visit ntaneet.nic.in. Click on the direct link available on the page.

  2. Login to your account using application no and dob

    When the login window appears; fill in the Application Number along with the password. OR Fill in the Application Number along with your Date of Birth. Note that the DOB should match with the information given at the time of form filling. Enter the security pin and click on Submit. You will be redirected to your personalized dashboard.

  3. Click on download link

    You will find the NEET Admit Card 2020 on the dashboard. Click on the download link and the soft copy will generate.

  4. Take multiple printouts

    After checking all the details, download the admit card and get multiple copies on A4 sized paper. Candidates should get a coloured printout if possible.

Must carry documents at NEET 2020 Exam Hall

The NEET 2020 Hall Ticket alone isn’t sufficient to allow entry into the exam hall. The candidates need to carry the following documents along with the admit card to appear for NEET 2020:

  • NEET 2020 Admit Card (coloured printout preferred)
  • One Passport Size Photograph. This photograph should match the one uploaded in the online form.
  • One valid Photo ID Proof that is issued by the Government of India. For eg: Aadhaar Card (preferred), PAN Card, Driver’s Licence, Voter ID, etc.
  • PWD certificate- if valid.

What to do if you forget / misplace your NEET Application Number or Password?

The Application Number is specified on the confirmation page. This is received in print at the time of registration. If the candidate has that, they can find the application number in it. If not, then the following steps need to be taken. Note that the application number can be recovered and the password reset as required by following these simple instructions:

  • Log onto the official website ntaneet.nic.in and click on “Forgot Registration Number.”
  • The candidates will be asked to enter Name, Mother’s Name, Father’s Name, Date of Birth, and the security pin. You will be redirected to your application number as soon as you press Submit.
  • In case of Password resetting, click on the link “Forgot Password”.
  • The candidates will be asked to “Authenticate Yourself” and hence, can reset the password by two ways. You can answer the security question you submitted while filling the form, or, use a verification code (OTP) sent via SMS to your registered phone number.
  • In case of Security Question, the candidate will have to enter their Application number, Name, Date of Birth, and Security Question (answered).
  • In case of OTP, the candidate will have to enter their Application number, Name, Date of Birth, along with the Security Pin.
  • The candidates can then reset their password and login using the new password and download the NEET 2020 Admission Ticket.

Wrong details on your NEET 2020 Admit Card: What to do?

If the details on the admit card don’t comply with the information filled by the candidate in the application form, they should immediately contact the authorities. This is also the case if the candidates are not able to download their admit cards despite entering all the correct information.

Note: If the candidate is found to be at fault for filling in wrong information, the candidature will be cancelled by NTA.

What if my NEET UG Admit Card is not issued?

NTA issues the admit cards for all those candidates who successfully complete the application process. The only chance is if the candidate has not paid the fees. If the entire process has been done and still the candidate is not able to get the Admit Card, contact the helpline numbers.

Can I change the details on my admit card once it is released?

No. All the details on the Admit card are taken from the information filled by the candidate in the application form. Hence, it is necessary that the candidate fills correct information at the time of registration. However, in case of some error, the candidate can contact NTA if the information is not same as that on the application form.

Is the E- Admit Card allowed, or do I need to get it printed?

No. Only printed Admit cards are allowed at the exam center.

The students who are preparing to appear for NEET 2020 must note that carrying the admit card is very much necessary for the exam. The admit card of NEET 2020 will be used for the verification purpose. It means that the identity of the student will be checked that only the genuine candidate is appearing for the exam or not.
